Utah State Football Picked Second In Mountain Division of Mountain West Conference

first_img FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailHENDERSON, Nev.-Tuesday, Utah State football was picked second in the Mountain Division of the Mountain West Conference as selected by media from Mountain West Conference markets assembled at the Green Valley Ranch of Henderson, Nev. for the first day of Mountain West football media day.Boise State was selected to place first in the Mountain Division as the Broncos netted 15 first-place votes. Led by current Denver Broncos quarterback Brett Rypien, Boise State went 7-1 in league play last season, winning the Mountain Division.Defending Mountain West champion Fresno State was selected to win the West Division, as the Bulldogs netted 17 first-place votes from the media.The Aggies amassed six first-place votes. Rounding out the Mountain Division standings were Air Force in third place, Wyoming in fourth place, Colorado State in fifth place and New Mexico in sixth place.The Aggies will address the media Wednesday as has been designated for all Mountain Division schools.
