Saab seals Swedish corvette contract

first_img View post tag: HMS Stockholm View post tag: Swedish Navy View post tag: HMS Malmö The Swedish defence and security company Saab announced December 18 that it signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Material Administration for the yearly overhaul and modification of the Swedish Navy’s Stockholm-class corvettes. The two Swedish Navy vessels are HMS Stockholm and HMS Malmö.The announced contract covers the period 2016-2017 while the work on the corvettes will be undertaken in Karlskrona.According to Saab, the ships will be classified as warships intended primarily for maritime surveillance after the modification is completed.
