Pacific has produced a Non-Dairy Made Easy Guide which offers tips and suggestions on how to use the drink in cooking.The new range is available in four variants: original, original unsweetened, vanilla, and vanilla unsweetened. It joins Pacific’s lineup of non-dairy beverages, which includes: almond, hemp, coconut, hazelnut, soy, rice, and oat.Pacific claimed that increasing awareness of the nutritional benefits of nuts and adoption of plant-based diets are driving demand for cashews and related products.Assistant brand manager at Pacific Foods, Kari Davis, said: “Our fans are careful about what they buy and the impact it has on personal and planetary health. As a manufacturer, we’re always aiming to provide great-tasting, nourishing products made with organic and ethically-sourced ingredients that consumers can believe in.”The new line is available across the US this autumn with suggested retail price of between $3.99 and $4.99 for 32oz.Oregon-based Pacific Foods also makes organic broths and soup and generated net sales of approximately $218 million in the year to the end of May.
